On the 27th July 2024, Dalesman attended the 3S Group’s – Brecon Search Seminar to give a talk with ZOLEO on Satellite Communications for Search & Rescue, Police and other volunteers and staff working in remote environments. We were hosted at the amazing new Brecon Mountain Rescue Team base for the day.

ZOLEO is a Two-Way satellite communicator, connecting to the Iridium satellite network, users can send and receive text messages anywhere on the planet. Location Share Tracking at 6 minute intervals can be shared and if there is an emergency there is an SOS button which contacts a Global monitoring station to get assistance anywhere.

It was brilliant to talk about ZOLEO and how this technology can support health & safety and communications for agencies and associations. Thank you to 3S Group for hosting the day and inviting us as a guest speaker.
