How long will it take for my fridge to reach optimal temperature?
The cooling time varies depending on factors such as the ambient temperature and the initial temperature of the items inside the cooler. Generally, it can take 30 minutes to an hour to reach the optimal temperature, but this can vary.
How do I power my cooler?
There is no battery inside the cooler, but powering your cooler is easy. The CFX2/5 models are compatible with both AC and DC power sources, providing flexibility whether you’re at home, on the road, or off-grid. Dometic’s PLB40 and PLB15 batteries are designed to be directly compatible with your cooler. Solar power is also an option with our Obsidian solar panels (batteries and solar panels sold separately).
What does it mean to be a mobile compressor cooler?
Being a mobile compressor cooler means that the CFX cooler utilizes electricity to power its compressor, which is responsible for cooling the compartment. This allows for efficient and reliable cooling performance. The CFX mobile compressor cooler plugs into power from an outside source, just like your refrigerator at home.

Yes, cleaning your CFX cooler is simple. Just wipe down the interior and exterior surfaces with a mild cleaning solution and a towel. Regular cleaning helps maintain the hygiene and longevity of your cooler.
